Dr. Potee is a native of western Massachusetts and attended public schools in the North Quabbin region. She attended Wellesley College in Massachusetts and Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. She completed her residency at Boston University, where she remained as an assistant professor of family medicine for eight years. A board-certified family physician and addiction medicine physician, Dr. Potee was named the Franklin District Medical Society’s Community Clinician of the Year in 2015. Through her wide-ranging series of lectures, she engages communities in discussions surrounding substance abuse. She is chair of the Baystate Franklin Medical Center Department of Medicine and co-chair of the health care solutions committee of the Opioid Task Force of Franklin County and the North Quabbin Region.
