Natasha Pyzocha, DO, FAWM

Dr. Pyzocha is an active-duty Army physician and flight surgeon for the 6th Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division. She earned her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and completed a family medicine residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. In addition, she completed a wilderness medicine fellowship from the Wilderness Medicine Society. She works with the Army’s World Class Athlete Program and is a physician volunteer for the U.S. Olympic Committee. A guest lecturer and clinical preceptor for Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine students, Dr. Pyzocha also precepts students from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She has written and delivered numerous presentations and articles on wilderness medicine and sports medicine topics. She is a HelpDesk Answers Deputy Editor for Evidenced-Based Practice, a journal of the Family Physicians Inquiries Network.
