Amra Resic, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Resic earned her medical degree from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine (USESOM), Netherlands Antilles, and completed a family medicine residency at Greenville Health System/University of South Carolina in Greenville. She also completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in the role of microRNA in leiomyoma development at the University of Florida and a vaccine science fellowship at the AAFP. Board certified in family medicine, she currently works at BayCare Medical Group, providing medical care to communities on the west coast of Florida. She has contributed articles to The American Journal of Physiology and The Consultant. Dr. Resic is passionate about teaching and volunteers her time as a family medicine preceptor for advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) students. She has a strong interest in physician leadership, practice management, and preventive health and is currently the vice chair of the Florida Medical Association Council on Medical Education, Science and Public Health. She also serves on the board of Florida Healthy Kids Corporation.
