Melissa Roberts, MD, FAAP

Dr. Roberts serves active-duty service members, their dependents, and retirees at Fort Bragg. She earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and completed an internal medicine/pediatrics residency at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor. During her final year in the program, she was chief resident. She served an additional year as chief resident in internal medicine at the University of Michigan Health System, which included teaching at the Ann Arbor Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Since joining the family medicine faculty at Womack Army Medical Center, Dr. Roberts has served as the physician lead for the Geriatric Experience and was recently appointed Associate Program Director of Curriculum. She is also co-chair of the Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) committee for the Womack residency programs. Her interest in quality improvement led to her selection to attend the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) National Forum, and she enjoys incorporating quality improvement into the residency program.
