Anna Sliwowska, MD

Professor and Vice Chair of Education, Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of New Mexico (UNM) School of Medicine, Albuquerque

Dr. Sliwowska earned her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine. At Rutgers-RWJMS, she completed her family medicine residency, serving as chief resident, and completed fellowship training in women’s health. Currently, she works at a university-based practice, training medical students and residents in women’s health procedures and primary care. Her focus is comprehensive care for all women of reproductive age. She specializes in contraception (including long-acting reversible contraception), miscarriage, and pregnancy options counseling, as well as polycystic ovary syndrome and abnormal uterine bleeding.
