Family physician, Hometown Direct Care, Cherryville, North Carolina

Dr. White earned his medical degree from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, and completed his family medicine residency at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in North Carolina. After serving on the residency faculty and practicing in Charlotte, he returned to his hometown of Cherryville, North Carolina, in 1988 to open Cherryville Primary Care. In March 2015, he launched Hometown Direct Care, an independent direct primary care (DPC) practice. Dr. White served as president of the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians in 2015. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and the American Board of Clinical Lipidology (ABCL), a fellow of the AAFP and the National Lipid Association (NLA), and president-elect of the Southeast Lipid Association.
