This comprehensive workshop will help the participants to understand the creative and artistic aspects of dermal fillers to help your patient’s achieve their desired look. The course will start with lectures on the history, development, and different characteristics of dermal fillers (Restylane® family, Juvederm® family including Voluma®, Radiesse®, and Sculptra®). In addition to some basic areas such as nasolabial fold and cheeks, advance techniques such as teartroughs, temple, nose, neck, and hands will be discuss. In addition to learning the anatomy of the face and principle of beauty, safety and efficacy issues, management and treatment of complications, and dilution and storage guidelines will be covered. With so many different types of filler and various expectations of the patients, the workshop will discuss the selection criteria of filling agents, establishing realistic patient expectations, and patient education to ensure positive patient outcome. The participants will be able to practice mapping the injection sites on their peers and practice the injections on pig’s feet.
