Problem-based Learning

Explore Problem-based Learning Opportunities

Use your time at FMX to fuel your skillset through Problem-based Learning options.

Apply and practice key concepts from an associated lecture session. Team up with other learners in small groups to collaboratively work through case studies and receive feedback from expert faculty.

Capacity for these sessions is limited. It is recommended that you attend the associated interactive lecture before attending the PBL session.

Additional CME credit is offered through Translation to Practice® (t2p™). Earn 2 Prescribed CME credits for applying what you have learned into practice and then reflecting on the outcomes.

Follow these steps:

  1. Describe the change you intend to implement by submitting a commitment-to-change statement.
  2. Put the change into practice.
  3. Reflect and report. After a month, and again after three months if you need it, you’ll receive an email from the AAFP reminding you of your commitment-to-change statement and asking you to respond with a description of the change you made and how it worked.

Questions? Contact the AAFP at (800) 274-2237 or aafp@aafp.org.
