Industry Applications for FMX 2022 Scientific Informational Displays (ePosters)
Apply for an opportunity to share your latest scientific research with family physicians attending the Family Medicine Experience (FMX) Conference September 20-23, 2022.
Scientific Informational eDisplays/ePosters will be available during FMX event hours and are not available for CME credit. This opportunity is available to any industry and subject to the application processes and guidelines outlined below.
Call for Abstracts Open February 1, 2022
The call for abstracts for FMX 2022 opens February 1, 2022, and closes 11:59 p.m. CT March 31, 2022. No late breaking abstracts will be accepted after March 31, and incomplete applications will be automatically excluded from consideration.
If you were an applicant for the industry displays in 2021, you can use the same login credentials created previously. If you are new, you will be required to register and create a username and password. This will allow you to log in, start your application, save, and complete at any time.
How to prepare your application:
- A research study may only be submitted once. Only one abstract per study. Duplicate abstracts (reporting the data from a single study) that are submitted under a different title or author will not be considered.
- If the same research study is submitted more than once, all versions of the abstracts will be subject to automatic rejection. In order to avoid more than one submission of the same works with different abstracts, please confirm all authors agree on only one abstract submission.
- Encore presentations are welcome but must not be older than January 1, 2022.
- All displays must be educational, not promotional. No exceptions will be granted.
What to expect following the call for abstracts:
- All applications will be reviewed by a committee, and selections will be announced no later than June 15, 2022. All applications will be measured on:
- Relevancy to family medicine
- Value to family physician for patient care
- Uniqueness of research
- Clarity of purpose and outcomes
- Implications to future practice
- If your abstract is selected, authors and/or representatives must register for FMX 2022 to have access to ePosters. Authors and/or representatives of your abstract will not have access to any of the ePosters without registering for and attending the event. Register for FMX 2022 >
- There are no presentations (live or recorded) associated with the ePosters.
- No abstracts, ePosters, or any associated information will be published or shared externally.
