Every year, incoming medical students take the Hippocratic Oath and pledge that they: "will be an advocate for patients in need and strive for justice in the care of the sick." Medical students are absolutely essential to the success of these advocacy efforts. During this Main Stage presentation, dive deep into strategies for medical students to become front and center in advocacy efforts. Leave feeling confident about championing anti-racism advocacy, embracing a common agenda, establishing formal structures, engaging affinity groups and allies, endorsing legislative advocacy; encouraging curricular reform, and enriching the pipeline.
