National Conference attendance is open to  AAFP family medicine resident members, AAFP student members (current medical students), and AAFP transitional members  (individuals who have graduated medical school in 2019, 2020, or 2021). Learn more about eligibility.

What does my registration fee include?

National Conference is where affordability meets excellence in education. Priced to ensure you can attend, the registration fee includes:

  • Workshops and main stage sessions
  • On demand access to all education
  • Virtual Expo Hall, including ability to schedule one-on-one appointments

Full payment must be received with your registration. Pay by check (payable to the AAFP) or charge your registration to American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. View the cancellation policy.

Only AAFP members are eligible to attend National Conference.

Please note: Individuals who completed medical school in 2019 or earlier and have not matched into a residency are not eligible to attend National Conference.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

AAFP must receive notice of cancellation by July 8, 2021. Cancellations or no-shows after this date are not eligible for a refund. Requests for full cancellations will be refunded less a $50 administrative fee.

Please allow up to four weeks for delivery of refund. Fees will be refunded the same way they were paid to the AAFP. This policy covers registration and ticketed events.

If a program is canceled by the AAFP, every effort will be made to notify registrants as least 30 days prior to the first day of the course, and registration fees will be refunded.
