Each year, the symposium provides family medicine residency program directors, faculty, nurses, and administrators across the country educational and networking opportunities through hot topic workshops, plenaries, posters, innovations, and regulatory updates. Learn more about the symposium.
During and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the well-being and safety of the graduate medical education community and the public is the AAFP’s top priority. Right now, the AAFP is moving ahead with the 2021 PDW and RPS Symposium in Kansas City as planned. Recognizing that the pandemic may continue to impact in-person events, the AAFP will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves. Updated information, including any changes to format or timing, will be posted to the AAFP website.
The event will happen one month earlier in 2021. Review the schedule below to plan your participation.
- PDW and RPS: Friday, March 5 –Tuesday, March 9
- PDW Only: Friday, March 5 – Sunday, March 7
- RPS Only: Saturday, March 6 – Tuesday, March 9
