    What are the system requirements for the Residency Leadership Summit platform?

    You can access Residency Leadership Summit on a PC running Windows 7+ or Mac running macOS 10.12+ through Chrome or Safari.

    You can also access via Android tablets and phones using Chrome and iPhones and iPads using Safari. For the best experience, we recommend joining on a computer through Chrome.

    You should also check your connection speed prior to joining the meeting. You’ll need a minimum of 0.6 Mbps download speed, but we recommend at least 1 Mbps for streaming. For video calls, we recommend 2.5 Mbps download speed.

    What steps can I take to help me have a great experience at a virtual conference?

    Below are some helpful tips to help you have the best user experience at the Residency Leadership Summit:

    • Make sure your browser is up to date with the latest version
    • Disable any large or privacy-related browser extensions or plug-ins
    • Ensure that your browser is allowing use of your camera and microphone
    • ·Ensure that your computer is allowing use of your camera and microphone in your device settings
    • Clear your cache, cookies and browsing data of all time or use a private/incognito browser window if you are experiencing any issues
    • Maximize your internet connection by connecting your computer by an ethernet cable directly from your internet router
    • If you must use Wi-Fi, try and use the 5GHz network and make sure you are 5-8 ft from your router.
    • Close out other apps on your device that aren’t essential to your live stream
    • Disconnect other non-essential devices around your home (or office) that are connected to the internet: streaming devices, tablets, phones, video game systems, and/or smart TVs

    Cancellation and Refund Policy

    The AAFP must receive your notice of cancellation by February 3. Requests for full cancellations will be refunded, less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations after February 3 are not eligible for a refund. No-shows are also not eligible for a refund. Please allow up to four weeks for delivery of refund. Fees will be refunded in the same form of payment they were made to the AAFP. See the entire policy and instructions on how to cancel/request a refund. See cancellation policy.

    CME Accreditation

    The AAFP has reviewed 2021 Residency Leadership Summit and deemed it acceptable for up to 12.50 Online Only, Live AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of Approval is from 03/04/2021 to 03/06/2021. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

    The AAFP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

    The American Academy of Family Physicians designates this Online Only, Live for a maximum of 12.50 AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

    The ACOFP is a co-sponsor for the 2021 March AAFP Residency Leadership Summit. The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The AAFP March 2021 Residency Leadership Summit qualifies for 12.50 AOA Category 1-A credit under an exemption approved by the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Education of the American Osteopathic Association.  

    The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accepts AAFP CME toward its member continuing education requirements.
