    • HHS Renews Public Health Emergency: Due to the ongoing pandemic, the public health emergency will remain in effect starting July 20 for another 90 days. 
    • Joint Statement on Benefits of Vaccination: After reviewing data at the June 23 ACIP meeting, national medical associations believe the risks of being unvaccinated are far greater than any rare side effects from the vaccines, specifically myocarditis. The FDA has issued updated fact sheets for Pfizer and Moderna.
    • CDC COVID-19 Vaccine Wastage Guidance Summary: Providers should not miss opportunities to vaccinate every eligible person who presents at a vaccination site, even if it means puncturing a multidose vial to administer vaccine.
    • Caring for Patients with Post-COVID Conditions: The CDC issued interim guidance on how to manage a wide range of physical and mental health consequences experienced by some patients four or more weeks after infection.
