This project was conducted between March 2010 - March 2012. This study is an electronic chart audit of abstracted existing EHR data through DARTNet. This new data set would be used to replicate and expand upon the description of the natural history of CKD described in Chronic Renal Insufficiency Cohort (CRIC) and will help us to better understand this growing health concern. The data will be analyzed with descriptive statistics describing prevalence of complications according to factors related to increased progression over time.
The main objective was to explore and describe the natural history of CKD and its related complications across a much larger population than has been explored previously.
