Description
The UCSF-Fresno departments of Emergency Medicine and Family and Community Medicine are excited to announce a new opportunity for fellowship training in Wilderness Medicine, open to graduates of residencies in Family and Community Medicine. The fellowship is a one-year program. The goals of the fellowship are to provide physicians with the cognitive knowledge and hands-on skills needed to be leaders in the field of Wilderness Medicine. The curriculum and experiences available during the fellowship are designed to be flexible to allow each individual the opportunity to explore the areas that interest them the most. Our close ties with the National Park Service Parkmedic Program as well as our local four-county EMS agency provide numerous opportunities for learning, training, and working in both Wilderness Medicine and EMS.
