Description
The Community Medicine Fellowship at the University of Michigan and Hamilton Community Health Network in Flint, Michigan is a unique one year program for fellows interested in careers improving the health and healthcare of underserved communities. Clinical experiences are based at Hamilton Health Network clinics in Flint. University of Michigan faculty will mentor fellows in relevant educational activities including teaching, individualized leadership development, and advocacy skills training. Fellows will also collaborate throughout the year with Hamilton and other community partners to develop a sustainable health project/scholarly activity focused on unmet health needs of the Flint community.
