View Residency Information

Last updated: Thursday, December 11, 2025

Description

There are two available options in our program: 1. Global health electives are available to all residents. Elective opportunities vary and are tailored to resident interest. Requirements include presenting a case study from their trip and completing recommended reading. 2. The global health track is limited to one resident per year to prepare residents to work part-time or full-time in medically underserved areas globally. The resident will use elective time to fulfill the requirements of the track. Residents receive enhanced training in infectious disease, surgical procedures, tropical medicine, travel medicine, public health and dental medicine.
