Description
Residents will spend up to four weeks experiencing medical practice in a global health setting with an underserved population. In addition, residents will be introduced to global health issues with a focus on variation in medical practice, disease presentation, and resources availability.

Field experience
Residents will practice alongside a physician in a practice setting of a different country and culture. The resident will function in all activities in which a partner would participate including social interactions with the physician and community members after hours to experience cultural differences.
Didactics
Formal didactics will be provided as part of the rotation.
