Program Description
Our Family Medicine Residency Program is based in Asheville, NC. We are nestled in a thriving city in the heart of Western North Carolina, surrounded by many beautiful, rural communities. Our residency offers broad-scope family medicine training rooted in our Clinic First curricular model; this allows us to emphasize continuity of care for both physicians and patients in our Family Health Center. Highlights for our program include high-volume inpatient and outpatient pediatrics and an emphasis on community-focused needs. This includes, but is not limited to, lifestyle medicine, addiction medicine, care for the homeless, reproductive and hormone health, and comprehensive outpatient procedures.
