    Program Description

    Christiana Care Family Medicine offers programs which create diverse learning environments rich in resources and professional collaborations. We offer a Categorical 3 year program, a combined, dually-accredited Emergency Medicine/ Family Medicine Program; the first in the nation, a sports medicine fellowship, a global health track and we have ACGME Osteopathic Recognition. Our program was chosen as one of 14 programs in the U.S. to pioneer innovations in Family Medicine through the P4 initiative. We have implemented a flexible, tailored and patient-centered curriculum that alters both the content and process of family medicine residency education with a strong outpatient focus.
