    Program Description

    We are the only residency program sponsored by our community based affiliate hospital. Our institution affiliation is LSUHSC-New Orleans. Faculty with previous private practice experience. All of our faculty are procedure oriented, from women’s health procedures to musculoskeletal ultrasounds and a lot more. We have a sports medicine program in conjunction with our local university (Division I-AA, McNeese State University) and high school athletics programs. We offer very clinically oriented and practical training in Family Medicine with lots of hands-on experiences that will have you well prepared for the "real-world" whether you choose a rural or urban practice setting.
