Program Description

A community-based truly unopposed residency training program located in Sacramento, California, between San Francisco and the Sierra Nevada mountains. Faculty are friendly, approachable, and dedicated to resident education while ensuring a balanced work/lifestyle approach. Residents receive training with a diverse patient population and learn the skills that prepare them to practice the full scope of family medicine (from solo private practice to hospitalist positions). 100% of graduates have passed the boards on their first attempt in the last 5 years. The programs philosophy centers around full spectrum care of the patient and family, in community service, and in treatment of the under-served.
