    Program Description

    Located in the multi-ethnic, urban community of Glendale, California (15 minutes north of Downtown LA) we take pride in providing care for the special needs of our medically underserved community and being the medical home for many of Glendale's vulnerable residents. We are a community-based, unopposed program with a dynamic faculty, a broad universe of patients, and a thorough grounding in medical procedures and technology. We offer a rich opportunity for the physician-in-training seeking a comprehensive, well-rounded experience in family medicine. Our residency program places strong emphasis in the areas of ob/gyn, geriatrics, palliative care, and pediatrics. Our program aims to create an environment in which residents can flourish. We emphasize an environment focused on camaraderie, building wellness activities/retreats into the schedule, and a variety of resources offered to residents to promote mental/social/emotional/spiritual health.
