Program Description
Our program offers a unique blend of experiences in urban, suburban, and rural settings. We are a community-based program with a strong academic flavor and formal affiliations with Wayne State University and St. George's University. St. John Hospital has received numerous awards, including being named a Top 15 Teaching Hospital for several years by Solucient Benchmark for Success. We emphasize family oriented care, obstetrics taught by our own family medicine faculty, procedures, and practice management with a fully integrated EMR. International elective experiences round out the full breadth of Family Medicine training at our program.
