    Program Description

For more than 40 years, we have provided excellence in resident-centered family medicine residency education. Our faculty of dedicated educators bring an unusually wide-range of expertise to teaching as we endeavor to make those, entrusting their education to us, the best possible family physicians of which they are capable. Whatever your gifts, talents, and aptitudes, our program will seek to challenge you at that level while providing support in assisting you to meet that challenge. Situated a half hour from New York City and less than a half hour from world-class beaches, our residents enjoy access to the incredible range of cultural, scientific, artistic, sports, and dining the Big Apple is known for. Through our sponsorship of one of the world's foremost medical schools, the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, we offer an academic curriculum, opportunities for scholarly activity, and professional development that are second to none. We have strong ties to the communities we serve, which is bolstered by excellent working relationships with all the attendings who help train our residents. We view personal wellness, rigorous academics, mutually supportive team atmosphere, and passion for caring for patients as the necessary elements for a lifetime successful career as a wonderful future family physician.
