    Program Description

Because we're located in the heart of a major city, University Family Medicine (UFM) and the University of Maryland Medical Center provide opportunities for residents with special interests in urban health. Our department also has 15 years of experience in working with patients in managed care programs. These working people (many of them hospital employees and their families) are cared for by our residents and faculty. In addition, the Student and Employee Health Service of the University of Maryland, Baltimore is part of UFM. Residents also care for this young and exciting population. Our new facility has been designed so that we see our patients in a private office setting, ensuring a diverse practice experience.
