The John Muir Health Family Medicine Residency Program is an unopposed program, affiliated with the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Through our partnership with UCSF, we offer residents a unique blend of clinical and research experience, within a community health system. Our program is offering 4th year clerkships in 2017-2018. We matched our first resident class in July 2017. Our Family Medical Residency Program provides: •Broad spectrum, hands-on training in a community-based setting •High-quality service to vulnerable populations within our community •Practice and teaching within an evidence-based John Muir Health Medical Home model •Opportunity to lead healthcare transformation towards achieving optimal population health Our family medicine residency curriculum offers comprehensive training and experiences in both community and hospital settings. Our program also focuses on leadership and teamwork, with a strong commitment to quality healthcare for the underserved. We provide a robust evidence-based education that challenges residents to be thought leaders in the rapidly changing healthcare environment.
