    Students or residents who wish to apply for this award must complete an online application that includes answers to the following questions:  

    1. What are you passionate about as it relates to family medicine? 
    2. What have you done to promote the spirit of the specialty (i.e. community service, research, advocacy, etc.)? 
    3. What are your goals as a future physician and how will attending National Conference help you achieve them?  

    Each text box allows for 1000 characters (approximately 150 words). You are encouraged to give considerable thought to the essay questions and draft your answers in a separate document prior to beginning your application. If applicable, you may also complete an optional essay to briefly describe how you identify as someone underrepresented in medicine (500-character limit). 

    To apply for the student scholarship, you must be a MS/OMS4 student during the 2024–25 academic year. You are not eligible if you will graduate before July 1, 2024. To apply for the resident scholarship, you must be a resident during the 2024–25 academic year.
