The FMIG Network seeks a national coordinator to lead a team of regional coordinators to support Family Medicine Interest Groups and other student organizations across the country and at some international medical schools.
Term: Aug. 2, 2025 - Aug. 1, 2026
Candidates for this position are elected at FUTURE. Candidates should plan to attend the entirety of the conference. Candidates are required to be nominated at the conference, deliver a 2- to 3-minute speech, participate in a candidate Q&A, and, if elected, participate in a new officer orientation Saturday afternoon of the conference.

Time commitment away from medical school: Approximately 10-12 days (includes weekends) for travel and attendance at meetings.
Funding: Travel covered according to AAFP Travel Policy. A per diem covers expenses to travel to and attend the meeting, including lodging and food.
