Applying for AAFP membership requires that you first have an AAFP account. If you already have an AAFP account, you may simply log in and complete your membership application.
If you are a practicing physician, your medical license information (license number, issuance date, and expiration date) and credit card information may be required to complete your application. Membership dues and/or selected contributions will not be charged until your application is approved.
Note: If active membership was held within the last 24 months, you must have documentation of 100 CME credits earned during the same time period on file with the AAFP. To confim you have the necessary credits on file or to report additional credits, please contact the AAFP by email or at (800) 274-2237. Our staff will be happy to assist you.
