American Family Physician (AFP) is the editorially independent, peer-reviewed and evidence-based clinical journal of the AAFP. AFP delivers concise, easy-to-read clinical review articles for physicians and other health care professionals and promotes the specialty of family medicine. While AFP is primarily focused on practicing family physicians, the journal serves as a resource for medical students. The clear, focused and current AFP summaries are useful to students in their pre-clinical and clinical years. The AFPmedical student representative will support the outreach of AFP to medical students to both improve the visibility and rigor of the largest and most expansive medical specialty.
