Learn about and advise AAFP efforts to support family physicians involved in global health initiatives. The AAFP Center for Global Health Initiatives (CGHI) Advisory Board is responsible for implementing the AAFP’s global health strategy, which focuses on supporting AAFP members in their global health initiatives. Term: January 1, 2024-December 31, 2025 (two years)
Candidates for this position are appointed by the AAFP Board of Directors at the recommendation of the AAFP Center for Global Health Initiatives Advisory Board.

Time commitment away from medical school: Approximately 10-15 days including weekends, and one hour per month for conference calls.
Funding: Funding is provided by the AAFP for any in-person required travel during this leadership term.
