Term: September 1, 2022 - August 31, 2023
Candidates for this position are elected at the AAFP National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students. Candidates should plan to attend the conference, and be available for candidate orientation. Candidates are required to deliver a 2 - 3 minute speech and participate in Q&A.
Candidates should familiarize themselves with AAFP Foundation programs.
Required elements of the application include: Letter of Interest Letter of Chapter Support Faculty Letter, Participation Form (to be signed by dean of medical school), and a Photo. Time commitment away from medical school: Approximately 15-18 days (includes weekends) for travel and attendance at meetings.
