If you are not able to attend the AAFP Congress of Delegates (COD) next week, you still can keep up with the policymaking body of your organization via live streaming videos(www.ustream.tv) from the COD business sessions in San Diego.

This is the fourth year the AAFP has offered live streaming during the AAFP COD. The Academy will live stream:

  • COD - Session 1 -- 7:30-9:45 a.m. PDT on Monday, Sept. 23. This session will include reports of the officers and commissions and introduction of late resolutions.
  • COD - Session 2 -- 8:30-11:30 a.m. PDT on Tuesday, Sept. 24. This session will include introduction of past presidents and guests and the Director Candidates' Forum -- during which candidates vying for an AAFP director position will address the delegates. This session also will include at least one reference committee report.
  • COD - Session 3 -- 1-5 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, Sept. 24. This session will include a Candidates' Forum for President-elect candidates, remarks from guests and reference committee reports.
  • COD - Session 4 -- 9 a.m.-noon PDT on Wednesday, Sept 25. This session will include a reference committee report; election results; installation of the Speaker, Vice Speaker and Board members; and installation of the new AAFP President, Reid Blackwelder, M.D.

Members who cannot watch the live streaming events will be able to access the archived footage.
