Watch AAFP Congress of Delegates Live and Online

Academy members who aren't able to attend the AAFP Congress of Delegates (COD) in Washington next week can still catch all the action during the COD business sessions.

For the fifth consecutive year, the AAFP will offer live streaming video( showing the proceedings of the Academy's policymaking body.

Here's the schedule of the live stream events:

  • COD Session 1 -- 7:30-9:45 a.m. EDT on Monday, Oct. 20. This session will include reports of AAFP officers and commissions and introduction of late resolutions.
  • COD Session 2 -- 8:30-11:30 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, Oct. 21. This session will include introduction of past presidents and guests, as well as the Director Candidates' Forum, during which candidates vying for a seat on the AAFP Board of Directors will address the delegates. Reference committee reports will also begin during this session.
  • COD Session 3 -- 1-5 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Oct. 22. This session will include the President-elect Candidates' Forum. Reference committee reports will also continue during this session.
  • COD Session 4 -- 9 a.m.-noon EDT on Wednesday, Oct. 23. This session will include any final reference committee reports, installation of the new AAFP President Robert Wergin, M.D., and AAFP election results.

Members who cannot watch the live streaming events will be able to access the archived footage.
