March 04, 2020 02:04 pm News Staff -- From drafting resolutions to commenting on AAFP News stories, family physicians have a variety of ways to tell the AAFP which issues should be on the front burner and how well the Academy is advancing that work.
But the most comprehensive way to give feedback -- and one of the easiest -- is probably already in your email inbox.
Personalized links to the AAFP's 2020 Member Satisfaction Survey were emailed on Feb. 29 to all active members who have not opted out of email surveys. If you didn't receive it, go to the AAFP Email Preference Center, check the box next to "Surveys and Focus Groups" and click the "Save All Changes" button at the bottom of the screen to have your link to the survey sent.
The annual survey is an opportunity to share your thoughts about the value of various aspects of AAFP membership, the advocacy work that the Academy conducts with the government and payers, and which issues should take center stage for the next year.
The AAFP will use survey data to help set the organization's strategy and determine where to focus resources.
The Member Satisfaction Survey is designed to take about 10 minutes to complete. The deadline to have your response count is March 31, but you are encouraged to complete the survey as soon as possible.
Later this year, members who complete the survey will receive a summary of key findings to show which issues are of greatest importance to their fellow family physicians and what work members consider to be most important to advancing family medicine.
