The agenda, as outlined by CMS,(www.cms.gov) includes
- wrapping up the 2016 program year for the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), the Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program, and the value-based payment modifier (VM) initiative,
- moving into the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS),
- reviewing timelines for the PQRS, EHR, VM and MIPS programs, including submission timeframes and key milestones; and
- discussing resources available to assist physicians.
CMS will post presentation materials(www.cms.gov) at least one day in advance of the event; an audio recording and written transcript will be available about two weeks later.
Physicians with additional questions about the Quality Payment Program can email experts at CMS.
