New Provider Relief Fund Deadline Now Aug. 28: HHS has extended the Medicaid and CHIP Provider Relief Fund distribution provider application deadline to Aug. 28 and is simplifying the application form. The fund is open to eligible providers who participate in state Medicaid and CHIP programs and have not yet received a payment from the $50 billion General Distribution.
HHS Renews COVID-19 Public Health Emergency: The 90-day extension from July 25 continues a number of regulatory changes enacted to help physicians manage the pandemic, including the rollback of telehealth restrictions that have eased access to virtual visits and coverage for testing without a copay.
