AAFP National Research Network (NRN)

Join the Network

Help advance family medicine and improve your practice by signing up to participate in AAFP NRN research.

The American Academy of Family Physicians National Research Network (AAFP NRN) was established in 1999 to conduct, support, promote, and advocate for primary care research in practice-based settings.

The AAFP NRN assists in realizing overall strategies for achieving improved primary care for the nation. This includes asking important questions and advancing evidence related to practice transformation, health information technology (HIT), population health, cost reform/new payment models, and team-based care.

Family Medicine Discovers RapSDI is a new program seeking practicing family physicians with little or no research experience to conduct short-term innovative and high-impact projects. This program is designed for anyone who is curious about conducting research but hasn’t had the support to try. Learn More
