Regimen A
Ofloxacin (Floxin), 400 mg orally twice a day for 14 days
plus
Metronidazole (Flagyl), 500 mg twice a day for 14 days
Regimen B*
1. Ceftriaxone (Rocephin), 250 mg IM once or 2. Cefoxitin (Mefoxin), 2 g IM plus Probenecid (Benemid), 1 g orally, in a single concurrent dose or 3. Another parenteral third-generation cephalosporin (e.g., ceftrizoxine [Cefizox] or cefotaxime [Claforan]) plus Doxycycline (Vibramycin), 100 mg orally twice a day for 14 days
