Result	Criteria
Reactive (normal)	In a 20-minute period, two or more fetal heart rate accelerations of at least 15 beats per minute above the baseline heart rate.*
	Each acceleration lasts at least 15 seconds.
	Fetal movement may or may not be discernible by the patient.
Nonreactive (abnormal)	No fetal heart rate accelerations over a 40-minute period.
