Results shown for Allscripts MyWay (formerly Misys MyWay) and Misys EMR in “The 2009 EHR User Satisfaction Survey: Responses From 2,012 Family Physicians” [November/December 2009] are likely to be incorrect, since it appears that some users of Misys EMR may have mistakenly indicated that they use Misys MyWay.

The problem arose from limitations of the drop-down list of EHR systems provided for respondents. It included 73 systems and a choice for “Other” that asked respondents to key in the name of their system. The list included Misys MyWay but not Misys EMR, so users of the latter would have had to select “Other” and enter the system name to show that they use it. Some users of Misys EMR may have chosen Misys MyWay instead, that being the only Misys product listed. The editors have deleted data on these two systems from the article and its online appendix.
