American Family Physician (AFP) is the peer-reviewed and evidence-based clinical journal of the AAFP. AFP delivers concise clinical review articles for physicians and promotes family medicine. While AFP primarily focuses on established family physicians, the journal serves as a critical resource for residents. AFP provides relevant and concise content that serves as a resource for resident in-service training as well as board certification examinations. The AFP resident representative will serve as the advocate for resident interests and learning needs while promoting the journal to future family physicians.
Term: January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024
Candidates for this position are appointed by the editor-in-chief of the American Family Physician journal.
