    Learning Objectives

    Livestream Questions

    What should I expect after I register for livestream? 

    You will receive an email from ON Services, our streaming provider, the day before the course begins, with the link to access the livestream and course resources which include access to PDFs of presentations. ON Services will also send reminder emails one hour before the start of each day's sessions that you have registered for.

    What are the system requirements for the livestream?

    For ideal viewing and participation, you should have access to the following:

    • Computer with the minimum specifications of either Mac OS X 10.6 or Windows 7 with latest updates installed and 4 GB of RAM
    • Firefox 1.1+, Internet Explorer 10.0+, Safari 1.0+, Edge, Chrome, and Opera (please note they are not compatible with Opera Mini). They recommend upgrading your browser whenever possible.
    • High speed internet connection with a minimum and consistent internet download speed of 3 Mbps or faster. Speed tests can be tested through the website www.speedtest.net.
    • Also compatible with iOS (Apple) and Android based tablets and smartphones.

    Note: Some corporate networks and internet service providers block video transmissions by use of a firewall. If you cannot see video clips (even though your system meets the system requirements), contact your network administrator to see whether a security firewall is blocking video transmission. 

    Will the live presentations be recorded?

    Yes. You will have access to the archived recordings of the sessions you have registered for within approximately two weeks. You will have unlimited access to these sessions for six months after the course. These archived sessions are approved for enduring CME credit rather than live credit.

    What if I want to cancel my livestream registration?

    Standard AAFP live course cancellation policies still apply.

    What if I'm not satisfied with the livestream experience?

    CME Credit Statement

    Participants should report CME credit only for the sessions they have registered for and completed.

    The AAFP has reviewed Child and Adolescent Health - Livestream and deemed it acceptable for up to 20 Online Only, Live AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of Approval is from 4/28/2021 to 5/1/2021. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

    The AAFP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

    The American Academy of Family Physicians designates this Online Only, Live for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

    CME activities approved for AAFP credit are recognized by the AOA as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit.
