Description
The St. Anthony North FM Residency Program a has a 46-year tradition of training bright and compassionate Family Physicians. We have proudly worked to help our residents develop the traits of a well-rounded Family Physician, while bringing excellent care to the communities of Denver, Colorado. Our unopposed program finds balance in the training of inpatient and outpatient medicine and does not neglect the necessary balance between our professional and personal lives. We off many international experiences.

Field experience
Our residents have traveled the globe (with the exception of Antarctica). Annually, the residency offers the Scott Spaeth Award to one resident, which give money to that resident to do a rotation in a different country and to "broaden the horizons" of that resident training.
Didactics
Didactics include "hands on" experience with many opportunities including language and cultural immersion.

Costs are varied. Travel and lodging are not covered by residency. The yearly winner of the Scott Spaeth Award may apply the scholarship towards travel and lodging.
