The American Family Physician (AFP) photo competition encourages students and residents to share their stories through photographs about how they use the AFP journal.

We are pleased to announce this year’s winners:

• Erica Jolly, MD, a second-year resident at Prisma Health Greer Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program, Greer, S.C.

• Samantha Hicks, a second-year medical student at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Fla.

The winning photos are being shared in this issue of the journal, in the digital versions of AFP, and through the AFP social media channels. Winners received a $100 gift card and a one-year print subscription to AFP. Photo submissions receiving honorable mention are featured online and are posted to the AFP social media channels.
