Pilocarpine 1.25% ophthalmic solution (Vuity) is a novel ophthalmic form of the well-known cholinergic agonist, pilocarpine. Although other forms of ophthalmic pilocarpine are used to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension, Vuity is labeled for the treatment of presbyopia. It works to improve near vision by causing pupillary constriction.1
