If you prefer to write out your visit notes on paper, your staff can help you transfer those notes to the EHR. But you must still be involved in the process. Your staff cannot use your log-in or sign the note for you. You will have to personally read the note as transcribed in the EHR, make any necessary corrections or additions, and then sign off on it yourself. It’s also a good idea to scan in your written note.
