FUTURE attendees may be the target of unauthorized hotel/housing providers who claim to be "partners" or providing services on behalf of the AAFP. As 2026’s conference approaches, be aware that these companies are not authorized to provide services on the AAFP's behalf.
We work to prevent the unauthorized contact of our community as well as the inappropriate use of both attendees' and exhibitors' names. The AAFP is firmly committed to providing quality services to make your exhibiting experience a positive one, and we will vigorously pursue these organizations to prevent unauthorized contact.
All reservation changes can be made by clicking HERE, or by calling (844) 443-7240 / (801) 214-7292 (International) through July 13, 2026. After this date please contact your hotel directly.
All cancellations must be made online, by clicking HERE, or in writing by e-mail to help@orchid.events.
To take advantage of convention rates, make your reservation by July 2, 2026. After this date, blocks will be released and the hotels can change rates.
All rates are per room, per night, and are subject to a 17.48% tax (subject to change) and a business development fee of $3.56 per night. When making reservations, special requests cannot be guaranteed; however, hotels will do their best to honor requests upon check-in.
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card valid through September 2026.
Orchid will send you an acknowledgment of your reservation. Review to make sure all information is accurate and bring it with you at check-in. You will not receive a separate confirmation from the hotel.
Email acknowledgments will be sent within 24 hours of your reservation being processed. If you do not receive your acknowledgment, contact: help@orchid.events or by calling (844) 443-7240 until July 13. After this date, you must go directly to hotel you booked with.
Note: The acknowledgment is only sent to the primary name on your housing form or reservation. Share this with anyone who may be sharing rooms.
You may change or cancel your reservation through July 9, 2026, without penalty. Beginning July 10, 2026, to the arrival date, please contact the hotel directly for all reservation changes and cancellations.

Fares may be prorated (shared) when the originating passenger requests it and all other passengers agree.
Rates are $2.50 plus $2.10 per mile. Rates may vary due to traffic delays and waiting time.
Notice: City ordinance requires taxicab operators to take all trips regardless of length. If short-trip service is refused, obtain the name and vehicle number of the cab and report it by calling (816) 243-5237. It is also illegal for taxi drivers to solicit your business without invitation.
Running from the River Market on the north end to Union Station and Crown Center on the south, the KC Streetcar connects all the downtown neighborhoods with 16 platform stops and two miles of track. It’s free to ride!
Kansas City’s MAX bus service operates along the Main Street corridor, from the River Market through downtown, past Union Station and Crown Center and south to the Country Club Plaza. Hours of operation are: 5 a.m.–11 p.m., seven days a week.
Cost: $1.50, collected on board, with free transfers to the rest of the Metro system.
